We are FIGY Travel Foundation - a Dutch volunteer travel organization based in Amsterdam and established to provide people with the opportunity to assist on a voluntary basis in teaching, healthcare and agriculture in the area of Mwanza, Tanzania, while using their skills and experiencing life in the local community in a safe environment.
FIGY Travel Foundation was founded to boost the resources of our partner (Stichting Support Schoolfees) beyond its existing sponsors to provide additional sources of income to allow it to extend its community work on the ground in the Sengerema District of Tanzania.
